On my quest for the perfect caviar I have come across a few shining stars.
Lanzafame Trattoria in Wooloomooloo is home to a delicious spanish caviar.. Served by the gram this delicacy does not disappoint .. Just ask the 2 yr old I was dining with.. He's caviars newest convert.
On the international dining circuit I found Joel Robuchon's caviar entree to be AMAZING and the most impressive... I opened the tin to be greeted by a delicious layer of Oscetra caviar. Diving into the the large black pearls like it was my last meal I was pleasantly surprised to find a smooth layer of crab aspic and even further down a layer of fresh picked crab. With each mouthful the experience becomes more intensified and I savour every last morsel. My dreams of a caviar tin that never runs out are brutally ended as i realise I have just devoured the last mouthful of this oceanic taste sensation.
Many people don't see what all the fuss is about but I can honestly say after my world wide caviar rendezvous that one should splurge and not pass judgement without trying the best of the best first.....
